GutIQ

Cookie Policy

Version 2026-04-18

This policy explains how GutIQ uses cookies and similar technologies on the website and web app.

Scope

This Cookie Policy explains how GutIQ uses cookies and similar technologies on the marketing website and web app. The mobile app does not use browser cookies, but app analytics may use SDK identifiers or app storage. Mobile app choices are controlled in Profile > Privacy settings.

Strictly necessary storage

We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies that are needed to provide the service, keep sessions secure, remember your choices, route traffic, or operate the website. These are not used for optional analytics and are not disabled by rejecting analytics.

Optional analytics

Optional web analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic, pages viewed, device/browser type, referral information, and approximate location derived from IP. Optional product analytics helps us understand app screens and product interactions. We do not send health data, scan images, symptom logs, or free-text health notes to analytics. Optional analytics runs only after you accept it where consent is required.

Providers

We currently use Google Analytics for optional web analytics and PostHog for optional product analytics in the app or web app. Provider names are disclosed here and in the Privacy Policy so you know who may process optional analytics data.

Changing your choice

On the marketing website, use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics. In the web app or mobile app, go to Profile, then Privacy settings, to change optional analytics consent. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics collection and, where possible, removes existing analytics cookies from the browser. Health-data consent is separate from cookie consent and can also be withdrawn in Profile > Privacy settings.
